Fort Carson Brigade and Battalion Headquarters
Project Details: The project consists of a new 141,000 square foot headquarters complex with a three-story building, a two-story building and single story building, all connected by a main lobby and courtyard. This complex was created to diffuse the mass of the military’s traditional block structures.
The design and construction of the project incorporated the synergy of sustainable LEED standards related to day-lighting issues, and the Military’s requirements for Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection (ATFP) exposures.
